Andy Russell has been painting his unique, “ Extended Realism “ style of art since 1975. Inspired by dreams of heavenly places and mixed with imaginings and scenes from travels, he always strives to infuse a positive     “ better than real “ feeling into each new piece he creates. Although interested in art since being a child he has no formal art training and is completely self -taught. He works in acrylic using a glazing technique of transparent layers to achieve a vibrant luminosity.

His work is in thousands of collections throughout the USA and abroad. It is licensed for puzzles, wall murals, cross-stitching etc. and can be adapted to almost anything to create a truly unique product!
